Over the years that I have been raising my little birds, families have come and gone, choosing a bird to take into their hearts and homes. Some families have kept in touch by phone, email, snailmail and/or Christmas cards as the years pass.
Each letter or call I receive brings a smile to my face warmth to my heart. It is a pleasure to know that my birds have a special place to call home and bring joy to the families who take them in. If you would like to share a story or picture of a bird you adopted from Sweetie Tweeties I would enjoy sharing it with the world.
Thank you for your letters, calls, and support. Deb
Erynn's letter to me was a first for me. She drew me a picture of her little budgie. I was thrilled that this young girl took the time to do this so I am sharing my gift with all of you.
Here is Erynn's little "Tinker Bell" and some of her letter to me.
"Hi! I just wanted to say how much we love our budgie. She is a great pet so far because she is so tame! We take her out every day for practically the whole day!! Tinker Bell is an awesome pet!!
Love: Erynn"
Erynn waited patiently (well, as patiently as any young person can) for her new pet from the moment Spud & Big Daddy had the nest box put up to lay their eggs!
Now I have another little girl doing the same.
Gotta Love Little Budgies :-)

Here is "Harley" (a.k.a. "Little Foot") in his new home. Harley was Sweetie Tweeties first blue Indian Ringneck baby and now lives in Saskatoon with Kelly. Kelly writes: "He's enjoying the nice sunny weather and loves looking out the window until he sees the crows, then it's not so fun anymore. He's such a sweetheart!"
